Ends At: Delhi
Duration: 8 Days / 7 Nights
Best Time: May to October

Type: Road Trip with Local Experiences

Welcome to Spiti – The Desert that Breathes Snow

This is not just a road trip. It’s a slow, meaningful journey across mountain passes, ancient monasteries, and villages that feel like they’ve been frozen in time. You’ll cross glaciers, rivers, prayer-flag-lined bridges, and end your days under starry skies. If you’re looking for a break that helps you reconnect—with nature, yourself, and stories that feel older than time—Spiti is waiting.

We’ve built this trip with love, patience, and real on-ground knowledge. No rush, no big buses—just a small group, trusted vehicles, warm food, and moments that stay with you.

🗓️ Trip Plan (Day-wise)

Day 1: Delhi to Manali (Overnight Volvo)
We’ll begin from Delhi in the evening and take an overnight bus to Manali. Get some rest—your mountain journey begins tomorrow.

Day 2: Arrive Manali – Explore & Rest
Reach Manali in the morning, check in, and take it easy. In the afternoon, we’ll explore Hadimba temple, Mall Road, Old Manali cafés, and maybe catch a sunset near the river.
Stay: Hotel in Manali
Meals: Dinner

Day 3: Manali to Kaza via Atal Tunnel & Kunzum Pass
Today we enter Spiti! Drive through the Atal Tunnel into raw, rugged terrain—cross Chhatru, Batal, and Kunzum La (14,931 ft). You’ll see the landscape slowly shift from green to brown to barren. By evening, we’ll reach Kaza, the heart of Spiti.
Stay: Hotel in Kaza
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 4: Explore Tabo, Dhankar & Pin Valley
Visit Tabo Monastery, over 1000 years old, and perched Dhankar Gompa—one of the most dramatic monasteries in the Himalayas. Then drive into the peaceful Pin Valley National Park. Wild, beautiful, and quiet.
Stay: Hotel in Kaza
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 5: Villages of Spiti – Komic, Hikkim, Langza
Today we explore some of the highest villages in the world—Langza (fossils!), Hikkim (send a postcard from the world’s highest post office), and Komic (feel the silence). You’ll also walk on the Chicham Bridge—1,000 feet above the ground.
Stay: Hotel in Kaza
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 6: Kaza to Chandratal Lake (or Sissu)
We drive back via Kunzum Pass and take a short walk (2 km) to reach Chandratal Lake—crystal blue, crescent-shaped, and completely magical. If the weather is not suitable, we’ll stay in Sissu instead.
Stay: Campsite near Chandratal or Hotel in Sissu
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 7: Chandratal/Sissu to Manali – Overnight Volvo to Delhi
On the way back, we’ll stop at Solang Valley. You can enjoy some optional activities or just relax. By evening, we board our bus back to Delhi.
Meals: Breakfast

Day 8: Reach Delhi – Journey Ends
You’ll reach Delhi early morning. This is where the trip ends, but we promise Spiti will stay with you long after.
